en I was still haunted by my last minute adjustment before qualifying. I am still trying to get the brakes all dialed in. I still couldn't come into the braking zones with authority until half way through the race. I caught back up and it was just a matter of 10 to 20 feet every braking zone because the Performance Friction Brakes were working well once it was dialed in.

en I lost my brakes. My brakes went loose to the car, and I decided to pull into the bus terminal to prevent a bigger crash.

We would have been OK without that problem. I wasn't even going to lose a position with the spin. The car was understeering, but it was OK. The tires and brakes were good.

en People ask me, 'Is it better to marry your money type or the opposite? It's probably better to do the opposite. There's some conflict, but there's also some brakes and an accelerator, as opposed to having all brakes or all accelerator if you're the same.

I was so surprised; I didn't even have time to brake before we made contact. I was right in his gearbox. It's a miracle we made it through. Quite a bumpy ride for the McDonald's car. All in all, a very good result for the team. They got the reward for their hard work.
