en We're going to be just fine next year. We're going to be a playoff team next year as long as we're healthy. There's no question in my mind about that.

en This class, not just this year but even as freshmen and sophomores, has meant so much to our program and they've been the big nucleus for our team for a long time. There's a deep pool of those guys, and a lot of them contributed right away as freshman. Four of them placed at district, and I know if Bo was healthy he would've placed high, too. I'm very excited about next year's team. It's a great group of guys that will be leading us next year.

en We're playing against a playoff-caliber team. The Steelers have had a good year. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. They have a great team. People always remember your last game. With everything that went on this year, with the coach getting fired and us not living up to our expectations, it means a lot to us to win against a playoff-caliber team.

en Throughout this remarkable 15-year run of ours in which the Braves have had so much success, I'm
asked one question and one question only, ... And that is, 'How have you guys done it? How have the
Braves been able to continue to win and put a championship organization and team on the field
year after year after year?'

en The Cardinals have a fine team, a real good team. We'll come out next year and try to get the lead or at least stay close -- and stay healthy. They're No. 1 or 2 in pitching, and that shows you how important pitching is. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

en The mind-set of our team this year is a state title. I expect a lot from them. And they're eager; they know we have a solid team. We're going to pull some surprises, no question about it.

en It's nice starting off the year with the checklist not as long to get ready for Augusta than it was last year when I had to make some major changes. This year it is just fine-tuning which is great.

en I think he feels it more than we can see it. I don't see anything dramatic, and that's fine with me. If he can throw the ball exactly the way he did last year and stay healthy, we'll be fine.

en We felt that we should've excelled and gone a little bit farther in the playoffs. But we think we are a playoff team and we hope to be better this year. There were certainly some positive things about last year. We missed out on the division by one point. We felt like we were having a good playoff series and got some bad breaks and it didn't go our way. But the objective is to go as far as you can, and we think we are capable of going farther.

en You never know how they are going to play in the first playoff game. You hope you have prepared them the right way the whole year long. I am really proud of the whole team's effort.

en It seems like he's had tough luck staying healthy. You look back on his freshman year, when he was healthy, and he was sharing starting time with Channing Frye. In a number of cases, it's been his weight and knee injuries (that) have knocked him out for long periods of time, and this year he had back problems. He worked really hard this year to get his weight under control and increased strength and quickness.
