They're a great college baseball program. When we get together it's always a good game and a good atmosphere and well attended.

Hopefully we can have a true home-field advantage, have a good crowd and create as good a college baseball atmosphere as possible.

It looks pretty close. Lighting is our biggest concern. But you can see they've made a lot of improvements. You can always bring in portable seats. The main thing is the atmosphere. You want people to come out early and do things like barbecue with their families. We want to make it a good atmosphere for college baseball. It was a good way to start the season. I think everyone was excited to go out and compete and I think it provided a great atmosphere for everyone who attended the race.

If you're a baseball fan in the area looking for a great game, or just a fun night out, you won't have any trouble finding it. Now that we put college basketball behind us, it's baseball season. And the truth is, college baseball is a pretty big deal in the state of Mississippi.

Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.

It was a good showing for our team and it was a great atmosphere. It was a great game for everybody at home. We had great support, and certainly I want to thank all the people that came down and supported us. We were playing a very good team. We beat Delaware State. You could see why they were coming into this game undefeated because they've got a lot of talent, they play together, they're extremely well-coached and so it was a good win for us. It was a win that we desperately needed.

It's been a great day. Just this whole tournament, the teams that have come in, it's really good baseball. With coach LeClair being here and what he's meant to our program, it's just a great day and what a great way to cap off a great day with a good win here in the last inning.

We scheduled (this game) last year, knowing that it was going to be a good game and a good crowd. I thought (tonight's game) was a great atmosphere, and a great gate for them.

Tuesday's game against Louisiana College will be a make-up game from one lost to rain earlier this year. Coach Byrnes always does a good job down there and I am sure he will have his team well prepared. It should be a good day of baseball.

Every home game at Nebraska has a great atmosphere, but there is added electricity for a night game at Memorial Stadium. It will also allow us the opportunity to get prospects here from all parts of the country into Lincoln to see the best game-day atmosphere in college football.

Flores was Brooks Robinson tonight. That's as good a performance we've seen against us defensively. It was a good college baseball game to watch.

It's kind of one of those deals where you're trying to stay up with the other college baseball programs. The interest is there, and that's obviously good for the program.

Richmond is playing very good baseball as of late. There has always been a rivalry between Richmond and Virginia in baseball, and they've had a great baseball program in the last ten years.

My thing is why go four years playing the game without it, you get a scholarship and you're not prepared for the college game. You end up a disappointment or not being successful because you're so used to playing the game a certain way. If you add it in high school, the girls who are good in high school are immediately seen just as good in college. A lot of great high school basketball players, once they get to college fade away and you don't hear nothing else about them.
