en I was really pleased with my run today. ... My running has been up-and-down lately. I had a 16.44 in Little Rock recenty, then had a 17.24 in the Hope Watermelon 5K last month.

en Kids handle discipline different ways. Some get embarrassed. Some get mad. You just hope in the end they all use it the right way, and I think they will. I think the only way to get through to players today is playing time. It used to be running them, getting them out of bed and running them. Playing time, today, is really the answer. Hopefully, we won't have this again.

en So far this month we achieved 1.58 for the average of the first 18 days, and hope we can be for the rest of month we'll be close to 1.5-1.6. For the second half, we hope to do 1.6, maybe a little bit higher towards the end of the year.

en I am pleased with the progress of our team today. Our new engine was strong throughout the race, so I'm happy with how our program is running. Our pit crew also performed well and we didn't lose any time in the pits. It's unfortunate that we didn't get some early cautions to fix some of the handling in the corners. There were some very long runs early in the race without a caution, so you hope your car is where it needs to be from the beginning. Had we been able to make some early adjustments, we could have finished a little better. It's all part of the growth process.

en He's actually a horse who is better running faster than rating. He doesn't really change gears. If he comes out fast, he'll maintain his speed. If you go :23, he's not the kind who will finish with them. I've ridden him over the last three or four years and, every time I ride him, I just let him rock. He broke today like a scalded cat.

en You hope in the back of your mind that if they crush it and it goes in the wind, it's not going to go anywhere. As hard as it was to pitch, it was probably even harder to hit today. It was different. It was not like Arizona (for spring training) was for the last month, that's for sure.
