The pilots have contributed a lot already. They feel that's enough. But it's a very competitive atmosphere out there. Delta needs the full amount they're asking for if they're going to be a long-term competitor.

Today's outcome will not disrupt Delta service. Together with our pilots and all of our employees, we remain focused on our number-one priority -- taking good care of our customers. The traveling public can continue to book Delta with confidence, and we appreciate their business and look forward to serving them. In the meantime, Delta remains committed to seeking a consensual agreement with our pilots and is working hard to do so.

An agreement with the pilots does not mean Delta is fixed. Delta has long way to go before it becomes profitable.

Delta passengers can continue to book on Delta with confidence. There has been no disruption to our service. Our pilots are performing professionally, flying as scheduled, and together with all Delta employees, are taking good care of our customers.

At this time, no member will be allowed to volunteer for any duty at the dispatch center. Until we have a full understanding of this short-term solution and a full comprehensive long-term plan in place, we cannot afford to accept the enormous amount of responsibility that goes along with such a plan.

The pilots came out on top of this skirmish, but I've been around for a long time and I know who is going to win the war -- Delta.

For the short-term, the only thing it changes is the amount of ownership. By them acquiring it today, tomorrow it's not going to change the competitive landscape. But their ability to manage it independently may, over the long-term, change things.

This is a day we hoped would never come. However, we are prepared for this event. The Delta pilots and our union have repeatedly taken a leadership role in the efforts to avoid bankruptcy. Unfortunately, Delta's plan to avoid bankruptcy was not successful. Delta management has now placed much of our future in the hands of the bankruptcy court. We will use all legal means to protect our contract.

Even if Delta pilots don't strike and something is worked out with the flight attendants, there's still a long road ahead to get out of bankruptcy. There are still a lot of bullets to be dodged.

The traveling public can continue to book Delta with confidence, and we appreciate their business and look forward to serving them. In the meantime, Delta remains committed to seeking a consensual agreement with our pilots and is working hard to do so.

This is good news for Delta's customers as they can have full confidence that Delta will operate a full schedule without interruption throughout the holiday season. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.

It barely passed, and it shows the pilots are not in favor of giving the company anything more. That's the smallest margin that anything has ever been passed by Delta pilots.

The immediate returns aren't there but in the long term this is positive. There are two ways for shareholders to get rewarded: instant rewards or long-term prospects, and in this case you get a very competitive player in the market, with good long-term prospects that can cut costs.

We are gratified to have a tentative agreement that benefits everyone associated with Delta Air Lines. This agreement will make Delta pilots the best paid in the industry and will provide other significant improvements.

It just depends where people are going from there. True Delta flights to Atlanta or Orlando are going to be difficult. We have several clients booked on Delta flights and it?s definitely going to have an effect if they strike. I?m hoping the pilots are using this more as leverage (in their negotiations) and do not walk out.
