There is no question that the conditions we are seeing at the New Orleans convention center are deplorable. It doesn't get much bigger or much more professional than the Las Vegas Convention Center, nationwide it's (in the top five) convention centers.

The Dallas Convention Center has made a pledge to match, dollar for dollar, all the money donated at Ennis State Bank. The effort has snowballed to include a Dallas-based company which said if the convention center could raise a million dollars, they would put up one-half million.

Las Vegas has long been known as the number one convention destination, and an enhanced convention center will allow the city to remain atop the industry well into the future. We look forward to working with MWH and other local firms and partners throughout the process.
