That's what we do. We run the ball. We've got three good backs. We didn't throw the ball at all today. I was real proud of the kids up front. They did a great job. I didn't think we'd have that much success running the ball on them.

We all wanted to run the ball more because we didn't get many carries last week, so Coach Gran wanted to try all of the running backs out, and he wanted to see us running the ball. I thought we all ran the ball good.

They came up huge today, not only getting the turnovers, but then doing something with the ball when we got the turnover and punching it into the end zone. We haven't seen much of that this year from our defense. It's finally good to get that out of the defensive backs. I also think that's something we can credit our offense to today. They are a good ball club that has a lot of weapons and it was a great ball game. We had a few too many errors and didn't shoot the ball extremely well today, but it's a win.

We didn't control the ball on the ground. We weren't as physical as we needed to be running the ball. You have to throw the football when they put nine guys on the line of scrimmage and we didn't get the job done.

They've had a great camp to this point. As we re-evaluted our switch to the spread last year, we didn't do a good job running the ball. Teams were dropping eight guys and keeping just three up front. Because of how well they've been doing, it gives us the opportunity to run and throw. It's a nice situation.

We spent nine hours today on them. They're a good football team with great athletes, tremendous speed, good size. They run the ball well and they've got a couple great receivers. Their quarterback throws the ball well and they're big up front. Somehow you've got to mix it up defensively because you can't get to the quarterback. He gets rid of the ball so quickly.
