We're just not putting ourselves in good positions. We had good looks, but unfortunately, the confidence wasn't there after we missed. And one thing is Lemont always plays very aggressive man-to-man defense. They do a nice job. They're very quick and they switch on screens, so they take away that part of your game.

We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. But it wasn't just one play like Devin Harris' steal and bucket. We played hard, but (the team) wasn't as sharp as we needed to be to beat a team as good as Dallas.

We were a really good basketball team tonight. We passed the ball so nicely. Notre Dame plays great defense and we just kept making that extra pass and setting good screens. It was a fun game for us.

They have a lot of different players who can guard (Burrell). When they switch screens, the next guy in line that takes him is a lot of times as quick. And I thought they did a really good job of keeping us out of transition tonight.

We definitely challenged ourselves by not putting ourselves in positions to be successful at times. All of our girls struggle with that so it was good to finish on the note they did on a nice 6-0 run. That's what you build on and that's what you take to have that confidence to know you can control the match when you choose to.

It was a good one. I was just feeling good. I was being aggressive, knowing I had a tough match-up with Steve Francis. It was just a good game. They guys were telling me to run the plays that we were running, and I just stayed aggressive.

I wasn't very happy at halftime. We made a couple of adjustments, one on defense where we decided not to switch the screens, and our effort in the second half was much better.

Our key is if we play aggressive or not. When we do play aggressive, we're a pretty good team. We missed a lot of shots early, but I didn't think we were playing bad. We played good defense.

I like his speed and his attitude, and he switch-hits and plays all three outfield positions. He asks good questions. He's hungry to learn.

This is a nice honor for Katie. She has made a quick adjustment to the college game. She's doing a great job contributing, not just on defense, but on offense as well. She's another part of a defense that has done well so far this season.

Afterwards, we shook hands. I would say we're friends, and that's a good thing. He puts forth his positions with a lot of heartfelt conviction—and those may be positions I don't agree with a lot of times—but he does a credible job of putting forth his position.

At halftime, we talked about controlling the glass. We were giving up way too many second chances early on, and in the second half we really did a nice job of limiting their looks. That was probably the best thing we did tonight. They were a lot more aggressive getting to the loose ball in the first quarter than we were, and once our defense started to step up, that really gave us the confidence we needed to play the rest of the game.

I like a lot about him. I like his speed, like his attitude, he switch-hits, he plays all outfield positions, he asks good questions, he's hungry to learn and he enjoys playing.

We've tried to remind him that he's a very good player and he can make plays for us. That's a nice boost for his confidence going into our last game.
