I told them I want to come back. I like the guys here. I like the organization and I like everything about San Francisco.

I just want to go back to San Francisco, play with these guys and give us every chance we have to get to the playoffs. I want to see the fans of San Francisco. I miss the city, I just want to go home. I can't wait to go home.

That organization brought him in to bring a world championship to the city of San Francisco. Anything short of that, then that quarterback didn't fulfill the expectations of the organization. That's a tremendous burden. No one who's ever won a Super Bowl has ever done it by himself.

San Francisco is coming back. Corporations are once again locating in The City and a rebound in Silicon Valley is helping the entire Bay Area. San Francisco's position as a gateway to Asia is also advantageous given the strength in the Asian economy.

San Francisco Bay has been hit hard by organisms hitchhiking from across the Pacific, ... They're talking about setting up very stringent rules for San Francisco Bay. If a ship has to change its whole operation to go into San Francisco Bay, it's going to reflect on the economy of the shipping line.

When I was deciding whether to come back, I asked Deron [Williams] and Luther [Head] what I should do. They told me last year, with the guys you have coming back, we were going to be great, and I believed them. These guys seem like they're young, but they have experience. We know what we're doing.

I don't think there's any people outside our locker-room who believed we could go this far. I told my teammates back in Florida when I'd be back and I told them on Tuesday morning. A couple of guys smiled, I don't know if they believed me.

I think the sky's the limit. That's what I told them. It's up to them at this point. They've got to decide what they want to do. As I told them at the football banquet, 'Don't let anybody tell you what you can and can't do and don't let anybody hold you back.' Those guys have got all the potential in the world.

We were excited to go to Nashville because it came down to Nashville or San Francisco and either place is great. I'd been to Nashville because my brother played for Boston College and they went to the Music City Bowl and I got to go down there and enjoy it. I told the guys it should be a good environment to spend a bowl game.

Sometimes in these types of situations, you want to get some organization. I thought that the way these guys play together, they can get some organization. We went through some stuff with Paul (Pierce) and he seemed to pick things up and play well off those guys.
