We all know how crucial the crowd is when the judges are down on the floor and somebody does a routine and 10,000 fans scream and react to it. It's hard for everyone to not get caught up in that. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Everyone builds on that and the athletes feed on that. It really is an advantage.

When we got to the second half of the year, he raised his level of play to another level. He became more of a leader out on the floor for us. He made some big plays at both ends of the floor when we needed something to happen.

We improved our team score tonight and the balance beam was much better. It was a difficult loss. It felt like we have the ability to be like Michigan State. It's a shame they are so injury-depleted, and my heart goes out to [Bobcats coach] Bernie [Bickerstaff]. They are missing the main core of their team. But I'm not going to measure our performance against their lack of people on the floor. I'll measure our performance against what we did on the floor against an NBA team. We are flowing on both ends of the floor. We've had contributions from everybody. We have a comfort level on the floor that we haven't had since (guard Larry Hughes') injury.

I had a good floor routine. It was not my best score, but they were judging harder. It was one of my highest vault scores all year. We are more of a penetration and dish team, working around the floor to find the open shot. Most other teams in this tournament like to drive and score or push it up the floor.

I'm so happy for April. She had a great (uneven) bars routine and was solid on vault and floor. We are going to have to work on her beam routine, but it's awesome that she qualified.

We need to push the ball down the floor and run the floor. The tempo of running the floor has a lot to do with it. We need to try to create some offense off of our defense.

He has to dedicate himself to getting into a little better shape so he can run the floor better, and he will have to be a better leader on the floor, and off the floor. He handles the ball well. He's got great hands, good feet. I think he'll be the best post player around, maybe in the state.

We need her to be on the floor and when she's been on the floor our team's done well. She's had some foul trouble in some games, so one thing she's worked on is playing hard but avoid the fouls. When she's on the floor, she puts up the numbers, she's able to produce.

I was impressed with our performance on beam. It was just like last year at the national championships when we stuck with a plan and had a belief we would win the competition. It was tough going over to beam with the home team on floor, and Alabama is outstanding on floor.

On the floor and the vault, I think we're performing at a championship level, not only in terms of performance but in our enthusiasm and intensity as well. We just need to do the same on the bars and beam.
