We have to address it, ... It has to become an issue, not just from a player perspective, but also from management's perspective, because it becomes a workplace issue. Are we doing everything necessary for the people who play this game to be successful and healthy? Are we putting them at any kind of risk? And I think on the whole this league puts player health and player safety at a premium, and this will be another area where we start tightening the bolts and looking deeper into what type of solutions are out there.

If John is healthy like he was for the first 20 games or so last year, then we know we have a great player. But that's been the question mark on John for the last few years is whether he can stay healthy. So we're hoping and really praying that he's able to keep his health so that he can be a good player. If he's healthy he's going to be an impact player. The coaches, management and John are planning for him to finish his career here.

You should spend some time watching one player. Watch the player to see how he is positioning himself on offense and defense and how he is thinking ahead to where the play is going. That will give you a bit of a different perspective on the game.

I think (the steroid issue) works to his advantage if you consider that the player he was and the player he is right now are not that different. If people think he was that player because he was on steroids, well they know that's not the case now.

You might expect the B player to become an A player with steroids. But now you see the C player go to an A player. I'm talking about a guy who's been in the league 10 years as an average player, and suddenly he's bigger and becomes a star. That's very troublesome.

Losing players like Bolts, who was one-of-a-kind, and Fig, who was a two-time all-league player and every bit the bull that Jeff was, is tough. But we've got some guys who can play.

It's like going from college basketball to the NBA. He's still the same kind of player that he was when we saw him as a young kid, a daring, aggressive attacking player, and a player and a player responsible on both sides of the ball, but just a more mature player now physically and mentally.

He's one of the most tasteful of all the drummers I play with. I like the type of tunes he selects and his writing, but mostly he's a very musical drummer. From a horn player's perspective, he plays the right things behind you.

It's a good move for Terra because it gives them the number four Web player in the U.S. and a top-10 player in some of the major European markets, ... From the Lycos perspective, it helps them in Spain and Latin America and that's about it.
