The police has filed ordsprog

The police has filed an appeal with the Delhi High Court against the acquittal of all the accused.

The appeal on the bail decision by the High Court will be filed tomorrow and it can be accommodated for as soon as possible compared to the appeal against the High Court judgment.

We had given up all hope when the accused were allowed to go scot-free. With the Delhi High Court's order, we now have a glimmer of hope that justice will be served.

I think this is an extremely positive step that the high court has taken by admitting the appeal and by ensuring that the accused do not leave the country.

On Friday, I filed a notice of leave to appeal in the Supreme Court of Canada, and this morning, Mr. Schreiber was released on bail pending the decision of the Supreme Court on the leave to appeal.

We have filed an appeal to the Connecticut Appellate Court and intend to prosecute our appeal vigorously. We are confident in our position on this. We do not expect a final decision on the matter in 2006.

Everybody in the family is happy with the move. I had an intuition that in a bid to bring justice to Jessica something would be done, but the stand that Delhi Police took on Monday has surprised everybody. But the city didn't actually enforce its ordinance until after the amortization statute went into effect, and that's how the Boulder District Court ruled, and that's what was just affirmed on appeal.

Outlook will be assisting the family in filing an appeal. Our lawyers are doing the paper work. The appeal will be filed pretty soon.

Assuming that something like this happened, an appeal would have been filed. In the best case, that appeal would probably not have been heard until April, but now that all this information is out, it's impossible to know what might happen. I would be blown away if Ricky Williams used drugs, and that's how most of the people around him also feel.
