We're still trying to figure out how to play without our best shooting guard. Nevada's pressure defense, they executed well. It's hard to adjust to. They do a good job of moving their feet and using their hands and it's hard to get through, but they're supposed to execute that well when you play at home. I see Aubrey as more of a shooting guard than anything else, but she can bring the ball up the court and go to the basket as well as shoot the ball. She's a tough, hard worker, and I think she's just beginning to come into her own as a basketball player.

Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

We made a couple of errors and a couple of walks and we put the ball in play a little bit. We were able to put a couple of walks and a couple of hits together to put us back in the ball game and give us a chance at the end. That gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of momentum. I thought that was good.

I came out and just did what I was supposed to, kept the walks down and I didn't give them anything they could take advantage of.

When he squares up and releases the ball when he wants to, I'm extremely confident it's going in. He has tremendous mechanics. The only time when his shooting percentage goes down is when he doesn't take a good shot or when someone's on him. The most important thing is when he's taking the ball to the basket. When he does that, he's a dangerous player.

I expect her to be a consistent, solid player, but this exceeded my expectations. She hit the ball hard every time at bat. Even the out she made were hit hard. She's got great confidence at the plate. She's very relaxed when she goes up there. She can hit the ball to all fields and she goes with the pitch very well.

I felt pretty good, kind of a strange night. Being wild like that didn't give them any time to lock in on me. Usually five walks in six innings is a problem for me, but I was able to get out of jams. I would have rather given up a hit than all those walks.

We came in saying if we stop the run they are going to have a hard time moving the ball against us. The problem was we didn't take care of the ball. We shortened the field for them.
