en It is just a fact of life these days -- babies interacting with all sorts of media. Why not give parents useful ways to take advantage of what's there instead of telling them to avoid it?

en The parents' anxiety is contagious. Even babies can sense when the parents are uptight. The most important part of preparing children for immunization is for parents to remain calm, reassuring and matter of fact.

en We have an ongoing concern that parents and babies are being exploited by the media and market industries. Parents have a right to honest information, and they aren't getting it from these baby-video companies.

en When kids are that little, parents are one of their favorite playthings, so having their parents' time and interacting with their parents is great.

en If there ever was a lesson from a case, I think this case has a lesson. If you are pregnant and don't know what to do, there are all sorts of people, places, parents that will take those babies. You go this route, you'll see where it ends up.

en Essentially it is a betrayal of babies and families. There is no evidence that media is beneficial for babies, and they are starting to find evidence that it may be harmful. Until we know for sure, we shouldn't risk putting them in front of the television.

en It does have all sorts of implications in the lives of these kids as they're trying to grow up. Whether it's a job, looking to rent an apartment — it complicates life in so many ways.
