I didn't see how it started. But I saw a couple of times where he (Allen) got hit in the mouth after getting a rebound and I think he was just frustrated. He's not the kind of guy who would do something like that, so obviously he must have been getting some cheap shots.

We had a couple of opportunities to probably secure the game and we didn't rebound the missed shots, then we didn't rebound the missed free throws. If we rebound one of those, they're going to foul us.

The night started out bad and kind of stayed that way. We were hurrying our shots and then not playing well on the defensive end. We did cut it to two points a couple of times in the second half, but we never got the lead.

We started out making shots, but that was a little misleading because we didn't get back in transition well or rebound. Then we just started turning the ball over and that compounded our problems.

Our effort was good. Our girls tried to get shots. We had the opportunity to tie or go ahead. I think we were down by one and we came up short on a couple of shots. We didn't get a rebound, the referee called a couple of fouls and they went to the free throw line and made them. Their No. 21 (Peterson) had a good game attacking the basket. We just had a tough night.

They played well and we turned it over. I guess it was a combination of both. We didn't make shots and we got frustrated. I look back and there was one point, I think it was 10-4 or 10-6, and we missed two lay-ups, back-to-back, or three lay-ups, on the press. Then we got a little frustrated and it kind of snowballed. Overall, we just didn't play well in any facet of the game.

I was frustrated in the game because it seemed that teams were forcing me to work so hard for shots coming off the perimeter, ... It got to a point where we started off having to take too many long shots, too many tough shots.

We didn't have the intensity level we needed. Early in the game we kept giving them second shots. They'd convert on them, and that broke our back a little bit, then we'd come down and couldn't convert on a couple of shots we had. It snowballs a little bit. You get a little frustrated, and Davidson gets a little confident, and all of a sudden it's easy to chuck up those three's and make them.

We got kind of frustrated. A couple of charge calls didn't go our way.

We were up 39-30, but when you're ahead you've got to keep scoring and we didn't. They hit a couple of big shots and got on a run there at the end and we turned it over a couple times. Give (Hickman) credit, he hit a big shot at the end.

In the first quarter we started out really flat. We got a lot of good shots, but we didn't hit any of them and on defense we were giving up shots. It was kind of scary, really.

We still have to make foul shots at key times. We still have to rebound at key times. We have to know who the go-to players are at key times. We don't need heroes. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.
