Yeah, we knew we'd go a little longer than we did in the first game, but I don't think anybody thought we'd go that much. I played [32] minutes, which is a little long for a preseason game, but we had to.

We knew coming into this game that it was going to be a difficult and hard fought game for 40 minutes. I thought that Eastern played with an exceptional effort today.

I'd like to have the first 10 minutes of the basketball game back. I thought we played a tremendous last 25 minutes. ... I thought the first 10 minutes we played afraid.

The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

We couldn't have played any better for 34 minutes. We had the crowd out of the game. It's disappointing. This one is hard to handle because I thought we outplayed them for a long time and they outplayed us the last 6 minutes.

Their X's are better than our O's. They took us out of our game in the first half. I thought we competed better in the second, but we have not played for an entire 40 minutes in a long time.

You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

I thought that the first 20-25 minutes of the game we played quite well. We created a couple opportunities. If we put one of those away it's a different game. I think the emotion of the match, and all the pre-game ceremony before we stepped on the pitch, hopefully wasn't that much of a distraction but in the end I think we'll evaluate that it was.

I thought that we executed our game plan pretty well for about 30-some minutes. This was as much of a complete game as we've had in a long, long time and I'm really happy for our guys.

There was a lot of game to be played. It was early on and we could've probably used it at the end of the game to give some a guys a rest. Ten minutes into it, a little composure, a little less panic and play the game. There's 50 minutes left in the game.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

I think Paris is just what we saw on tape. We knew coming in that Paris wasn't a burner. But he is smart, he's got excellent hands, he's a thumper, he's got that toughness and he showed that during the course of the preseason. And we got a good look at him in three of the preseason games and in all three, he showed up in the running game or the passing game. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality. I think Paris is just what we saw on tape. We knew coming in that Paris wasn't a burner. Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

Yeah, we didn't shoot the foul shots well but we were still in the game with two minutes left in the game. Our defense cost us the game. We never adjusted to their offense and they shot lay-ups all night.
