Any time you play ordsprog
Any time you play in the Big East, you don't want to give anybody a chance to come back. We wanted to put it to them.
Rashad Anderson
We wanted to sign a couple of receivers who can give us a bigger presence, offensive linemen that would give our line a chance to take the next step, and a running back that can compete for playing time right away. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. Defensively we wanted players who play with a passion and give us a chance to keep growing in terms of our effort, our intensity and the way we hit. The players we signed certainly fit into these categories.

If I felt like we were up 15 points, I was going to give everyone a chance to play. Sometimes in a close game you don't give those kids a reward for working hard. I wanted to give them that chance.
Eric Burnett
Our freshmen are going to have to learn to play in situations like that. I wanted to give them a chance to fight, scratch and claw their way back into it.
Tim Carter
It was very exciting for us. I get one more crack at it. That's what we play for. I just wanted a chance to get back there and raise it one more time.
Mark Recchi
At the same time, it'll give me time to go home and relax, fish and play some golf. I'm tired. I need some time off. It'll give me a chance to do those things, and at the same time to evaluate and look at situations that might arise about my future.

Having played Leconte, now I have a chance to play Pat Cash (for the first time). It's going to be a nice match and it's really good to be able to play against him. It's a new experience for me. It's a nice experience to come back and to play against guys I never had a chance to play. They have all made tennis history and it's pretty fun to be back.
Marcelo Rios
We've got a new ownership group taking over. They need to bring in their own manager that they can grow with. At the same time, it'll give me time to go home and relax, fish and play some golf. I'm tired. I need some time off. It'll give me a chance to do those things, and at the same time to evaluate and look at situations that might arise about my future.

I want all our guys to realize that if we get a chance to play in the NCAA tournament, that's our last chance. If we lose then, there's no more looking back and saying, 'OK, we can get it back.' You can't get it back. If we have 40 minutes left (in) our season, we have to cherish that. Everybody has to be ready to play. We have to just think we can't get that back. So we have to play with that urgency.
Alando Tucker
I know they're going to be great kids because their coaches nominated them. I've got the greatest seat in the house. I'm going to watch them play and hopefully they'll have fun. That's what it's all about. We want them to enjoy this because it's maybe the last time they get the chance to play basketball in East Texas.

We're just trying to get track time, get teams acquainted with the vehicles and give them a chance to get drivers in them. This will give them an opportunity to see the differences of what in what they used in today's car against the Car of Tomorrow on back-to-back days. It's nothing more than a learning day.
Brett Bodine
I was probably around 50 (percent) when I came back (the first time). I just wanted to play. Things were going well. We were on a roll and I just wanted to get back in there. I couldn't afford to take time off.
Manny Legace
I enjoy coming back to the city and back to the arena and play against the guys I know. I definitely wanted to win this game because we needed the win. I just wanted to play a good game and give my team what they needed to win.
Boris Diaw
Pinckneyville is an awfully good basketball team and I was proud of our kids for how they fought back in the second half. We had our chances. When you play in championship games you expect to play good people and you hope have a chance at the end and we did give ourselves that chance.
Barry Gebhart
It was definitely a completely different atmosphere than at the Big East meet, but that's OK. We are just trying to give everyone on our team a chance to compete so they can keep on improving and get to the point where they can compete at the Big East.
