We competed last week with Midland Lee and Permian, and those two definitely will be ones that we're hunting after. After that, I'm not sure, but I know it's going to be a strong district overall.

We've got to do a good job guarding against that. We had an emotional game against Midland High and the thing about this district is that you've got to turn around and do it again the next week. I know Permian's going to come out here hungry because their season's on the line.

I think we still want to finish strong. We had a good practice (Monday). We've competed well all season, and I expect it will be the same (tonight) against Midland High.

Coming off our first loss (in district), I'm anxious to see how the girls react to that. Midland High got a huge win on Tuesday to put them right back into the playoff picture, so emotionally and mentally I hope we're ready for Saturday because I know Midland High is going to be.

We're pretty excited about our involvement. Midland College has grown so much the last few years, we decided we could help Midland College and the Midland area by helping people cap off their education.

We're getting murdered out there right now, especially in the last six months. Just in the Permian Basin, about two rigs a week are hit.

Mike Morrison did a wonderful job today with a pretty strong provisional in the long jump and an automatic in the high jump. We were looking for a commitment from our guys and they stepped up and competed better than we did last week. We're a young team and we need to be patient, but our goal is to get better every week and we did that.

We need to hook them on hunting at an early age, so they become appreciative of the hunting tradition. This will also increase hunter retention and ensure the future of conservation remains strong.

The current hunting regulations are established to maximize hunting opportunity while maintaining high quality hunting experiences. We are able to expand hunting opportunities based on the success of Michigan's wild turkey restoration program.

The guys competed well. We scored 100 points and I don't think a Midland High team's done that since 1999 or before that. I'm proud of our kids. Each year we've made progress and our track program's come along. Our assistant coaches have done a great job.

This win is huge because now we have the district title. Now we have to get ready for North Crowley or Midland High in the area playoffs.

Katie wasn't very far off her school record (3,254). Katie had a pretty hard week. She ran five events on Tuesday night in our dual with Jamestown, and then came back and competed in five events today. If Katie isn't sore tomorrow, I don't know if she will ever be. That was a good score for her today considering how much she's competed this week.

They all did really well at district and I believe they'll do the same this week — I know we'll be ready for it. Our main thing is just to do our best and that's all we can ask for. It's going to take two really strong days and we're really going to have to perform.

The first year I came to Midland, I had a lot of fun. I got to stay with a host family. I was 17 then, so that was a while ago. I love Midland, it's a cute small town. It's a lot different than L.A. His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness. Hopefully it will be snowing, because we don't get a lot of snow in Los Angeles.
