We worked on getting more inside scoring over the break and hopefully it will help. The lack of production from our post players has been hurting us the most.

In both our wins over the week our three post players led us in scoring. Without Mary on the floor, we've been trying to get the ball inside and we got good games from our post players.

We got good balanced scoring tonight. We did a nice job of getting the ball inside to our post players. I was pleased with the team's effort.

Their guards help make their post players better. The guards are very capable of penetrating and kicking it to the post players and scoring.

Our inside post players are only 5-11 or 6-feet tall. And when you're going against kids that are 6-6 or 6-7, it's difficult. They just hurt us in the high post.

It's so critical for us to get our mind right before we practice Sunday. Our players are hurting. You can look in their eyes and see that they're hurting, and it should be like that if you really care. But by lunchtime Saturday it's got to be gone. We've got to have a great day of preparation (Sunday) and have the right attitude. We're going to break down everything that went wrong (Friday) and give it to 'em and then close the book.

We didn't start the game our way, like we wanted. I think it energized us for the second half. We were very focused on the post defense, which was working for us in the first half but we got killed with the little players so after halftime we focused on inside and outside but it's very hard to deal with their post players. It's a battle.

Each one is finding their niche. (Katie Rill) has been solid for us all year inside scoring tough baskets, Katy Richards and Anna Vogel are two of our post players who can shoot the ball. We're also getting contributions from Spencer Jump and Gracie Snider out on the perimeter and Olivia (Bull) has been able to drive to the basket.

A lot of times bigger players have to bang inside, they have to do the dirty work, they have to screen, they have to defend in the post, they have to post up. If a smaller guys doesn't mind doing that and actually enjoys doing that, he can play that position and that's what we have.

We've worked Dennis inside a lot in the past but got away from it this year because we've got two other posts. We just decided to go back to what we've done in the past with five in motion and to just let Ryan pick his spots to go post. He was able to do it and he scored a ton inside tonight.

His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. That tells the story. We pretty much did it, too. We were mentally not in it. A little bit of reaching, but it was mostly our post players who were fouling. They had a girl who they would post up. She wasn't a big girl or anything like that, but we seemed slow inside today.

We worked a lot on our high-low passes and our post players sealing. That worked well for us.

I try to envision what worked in Colorado and the thing I know that worked there is that (Forsberg) had scoring players who could also protect the puck,

The post play was amazing tonight. We normally try to play from the inside out and we made a conscious effort to get the ball into the post. That really worked well for us tonight.

They did a great job of getting the ball inside. They're deeper in the post than we are. I think they've done a great job developing post players.
