The dockside walkway's just an ideal place for people to stroll and visit a restaurant and see some beautiful art. It's a good reason for people to come out on a night when there's decent weather.

The only reason why they're dockside in the first place is typical political thinking. It's just a stupid rule,

Toward the end of February the weather is usually ideal. It's a beautiful time as far as the winds go. One of the things that the public really enjoys is that each night there will be a balloon glow You can see all of the balloons in the distance from the carnival and from the church.

A lot of doors could open for me that night. I have a job now as a server at a restaurant but I really want something full-time and I am hoping to meet some people that night that might be able to point me in the right direction. Plus, I am so nervous about speaking in front of all those people.

There's absolutely no reason it should be limited to breast cancer, and it wouldn't necessarily be restricted to people who work night shifts. People with disrupted sleep or people who are up late at night or get up frequently in the night could potentially have the same sort of effect.

We've done well in attracting people whose lives have slowed down a bit. The Florida that they used to visit with their children isn't necessarily the place they want to visit once their kids have grown up. They're looking for more quality things to do by themselves such as hiking, biking, canoeing and fishing, and we're getting more known as the place that provides that.

If we can set up a pedestrian walkway for people, why not? ... I think it would be a good asset.

And thank God it is decent weather so people can walk. It's not raining, and we're not ruining people's shoes.

Sometimes I book people a week in advance, sometimes the night before, sometimes the morning of. That's because it's a creative process. Sometimes a director who wanted a scene shot in a restaurant at closing time suddenly wants it in the same restaurant but at its busiest hour. That's where I come in, and that's where you guys, the extras, come in.

East Tennessee is a really beautiful place. My business isn't really based here at all, but I like living here. It's a really good place to raise a family and to live. I think a lot of people are finding that out.

We were on the waterfront, now we're here. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. And I think we're doing some street scenes. It's good for us as a cast. We were out last night at a restaurant and we're getting a sense of what the community is like, what the restaurants are like, what the people are like and that will help inform us and be much more specific when we're shooting.

When I was living in Charlotte, I usually had to wait until late in the night to go to dinner because it would be such a scene at the restaurant with people wanting autographs and stuff, ... Here, I can go out whenever I want. People have really respected my privacy. I love it.

Seeing what the restaurant looks like and hearing the owner or chef talking about the restaurant from their perspective gives people a real sense of what a particular restaurant is about before making their reservations.

Activities have all been a hit in the past. Depending on the weather, it could be a nice, enjoyable stroll through the cabin nature trails. Or if the weather is like last year's, we had a fun but sloppy time. Participants were sliding all over, falling down in the mud enjoying themselves. Everyone had a thrill!

The weather was excellent. We've had three meets in row with ideal weather. It's good to get into another part of the country and compete; it was a really good day.
