It really felt good to get back into the game. Whenever I stop a goal it's just great to hear them stand behind me, I just love it.

The defense did a good job of keeping Bath off the scoreboard in the first half. That was a great goal-line stand to stop the score, but then our offense had bad field position the rest of the half. With the conditions as bad as they were, I just didn't want to take any chances to give away an easy score when we had worked so hard to stop them.

At halftime we felt that as long as we are patient and do a good job with possession we could get the goal back. ... When you are down a goal and you're trying to push to get the goal there are going to be situations that will allow the game to open up and that's what happened. You still have to make the defensive plays out of those situations and tonight we didn't.

We really felt they didn't stop us. As good as they played against us, we were making some first-game mistakes. Once we got it rolling, we really felt that they couldn't stop us.

Every time I see him, he threatens to do something. I just saw him last night. I'd love to do it again…well, I don't want to do that again. If there's any way to avoid the curse, that would be better. I just remember how good it felt to stand on that ladder and cut down that net. Just to remember putting on that hat and saying that we were champions. To come back to Tallahassee and everybody act like we were celebrities was great.

We really played a pretty solid game overall. I definitely felt good. Of course a couple of goals you could stop, but other than that I felt good and saw the puck really well.

I'm pleased that they never gave up tonight. We needed a little break to get back into the game after we'd gone a goal down but I felt we deserved to win and it's good to be in the draw for the next round.
