en That's the type of coach he is. He just demands the best out of players. That's something you have to respect him for. He's a winner and he knows how to win.

en Look at his track record. How does he do it? He just has an air about him. Players respect him. They know he's been successful wherever he's been. So they are willing to make the sacrifices he demands. He can do that with the players. They might get tired of him in two, three or four years, but initially, the players will accept how he goes about his business.

en I respect their program, I respect their coach, I respect their players and recruited some of them, and yet I want to beat their brains in. That's just the way it works.

en He is a winner and he is a fighter. I had great respect for the way he played when he joined the team last year. That is a great starting point. Peter Nowak was a winner and a fighter and when you have that mentality from your best players it sets the tone.

en Any time you want that type of respect, you not only have to get to the Coliseum, but you want to win it all or be real competitive. Coach Heath does a great job with that team. They have the athletes and the players. I think it's just a matter of time until they get to the Coliseum and win a championship.

en It's always fun to face Lee and I know he wants to beat the old ball coach. I respect Lee a great deal and he coaches like I coach. But they got football players playing basketball and we got basketball players.

en There is a great hunger within the program for earning respect from the campus and community and conference. When you look at any team, any program, the difference between good and great is usually between the ears. We need confidence. But you also have to prepare for the success you're going to have. You have to act like a winner. You have to walk like a winner. You have to dress like a winner. You have to carry yourself like a winner. I'm a pretty straight shooter. You don't have to wonder what my thought process is.

en He has an enormous ego, which is good because that's why he's (in the NBA). He probably doesn't, behind closed doors, respect Kobe (Bryant) but he's got to respect (coach) Phil (Jackson) so that will kind of keep him in his place. He was the type of kid who had natural basketball instinct. He did things I couldn't teach.

en I think it's about a mutual respect. At the same time, the coach may have high expectations and may put some extra demands on him. But you don't ask him to do anything you don't think he's capable of. I always try to go by the line that no one player is more important than the team.

en Coach Billick, he just has a personality about him that you don't understand unless you're playing for him, ... He's all about his players. … Did I think it was arrogance when I first got here? Yes. But now that I am here, I truly see what type of coach he is.

en I respect what players have to do in this league, especially those type of role players who do a lot of things other people aren't willing to do. But there still has to be some honor in it.

en Mike is a laid-back type of guy. It's not that he demands anything because Mike's just not that kind of guy. But he's cool. Everybody just knows right off to respect him. He doesn't have to command a lot of things.

en Coach Hill demands a lot of his players. He's a great coach and a great baseball guy.

en He puts a lot of onus on the players. He's a players coach but he demands a lot. You can tell by the personality of our team. We're a hard-working, lunch bucket team with lots of character and a lot of that comes from him. I've had a lot of coaches and he's done a great job for us this year. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. It's not a surprise he's mentioned up there.
