en It was a touching moment. We were coming up here, we were going to face a great UNC team, and we knew [the '85 team] beat UNC when they played them. en It was a touching moment, ... We were coming up here, we were going to face a great UNC team, and we knew [the '85 team] beat UNC when they played them. The movie pumped me up and gave me the feeling that we could go out there and win.

en We knew that we had played a great team and competed with them toe-to-toe. But at the same time, it gave us a direction to go in our program. We knew too that we weren't the caliber team that they were.

en We knew Virginia was 0-2 in conference play. We knew they had beat us the last two times that we'd played, and I think we definitely saw which team was hungrier, which team played harder and which team deserved to win this game. They handed it to us.

en When it's coming to be in a clutch situation, I got a great feeling Jose Guillen is going to come up in a great moment at a great time, ... There's still a lot of games left. I'm going to do whatever I can do to help this team win, to help us get to the playoffs. I'm a big part of this team, and it's time for me to show that.

en That's an unbelievable team that we just beat, ... and it's just a great feeling right now and it just goes to show you that we just never gave up.

en This is awesome. Our team played great. We wouldn't quit. This was all heart, that's all it was. We knew we could beat this team, so we had to go out and give it everything we had. And that's what we did.

en It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

en We got him back, ... He was one of the team members when they beat us in Paris. It's a good feeling. I knew it was going to be this way when I heard how many fans were coming out and how many of my fans were going to be here. It's a good feeling when they're on your side.

en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. But now we are winning as a team.

en I told the kids in the locker room that no one person won this game for us; it was a great team effort. We knew that's what it would take to beat a team like Valley. It would have to be a team win, and that's what it was.
