I didn't feel any frustration. Just because I miss a couple of shots doesn't mean I'm going to quit shooting.

There's nights when the other team doesn't get a lot of shots on you and keep you fresh. It seems like tonight they were shooting everything. They were shooting from the outside a lot to try and get some rebounds and I seemed to be in good position and then the D really helped me out on a couple. She comes in, she's instant offense. She's a scorer. She has that mentality. She might miss her first couple of shots, then she'll hit six in a row. I just tell her to keep shooting the ball.

She's never been afraid to shoot. She just fires it up there and luckily, most of the time, it goes in. If she'll miss a couple of shots, she's so used to shooting that that's not going to get her down. If she misses five, the sixth one's going up. No hesitation whatsoever.

That first half they didn't miss many shots. If they kept shooting like that I knew it was going to be a long game. They've got good shooters.

I think we have good chemistry right now and the other guys have confidence in me. They believe in me and they're calling plays for me. I have a lot more confidence now and if I miss a couple shots now, I just keep shooting.

Mike is the kind of guy, if he hits his first couple shots then he doesn't think he's going to miss, ever, for the rest of his life. It seems to uplift his entire game. Because of that, I think it helped him concentrate even more on the defensive end.

I was struggling the last few games with my shooting, but it didn't feel off. So, tonight I concentrated and had my feet set and was able to hit the shots.

It was tough and these kids didn't give up. We hit a couple shots and some foul shots, got a couple steals and a couple charges. They laid it on the line.

We miss a lot of shots, and you can't let that affect (the game). We miss a shot, we hang our head for a minute and they're gone. That was the crux of it. I don't think we took poor shots. We took shots that were within the scheme of what we were doing. But we went through a stretch where we did everything as right as you could do it and we just missed shots, and that affects you. Whether it should or shouldn't, it does.

Marcus made a mistake, like every other student on this campus. I don't feel there's any question that Marcus has profited. Some people miss shots and continue to miss shots because they don't learn. Marcus has learned a great deal.

We were putting up way too many (3-pointers). We were settling for shots we didn't need to be taking instead of working for shots closer to the basket. A lot of that came out of frustration.

I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

We think that is a prelude to them all going in the next game. We try to focus on shooting percentages, not how many shots we miss, and we ended up shooting 37 percent. The reason people gasp for air is that they are point-blank misses. We can probably attribute that to nerves. We did substitute early, trying to get back in our normal breathing pattern.
