It's a typical 2-3. Their guards take a lot of chances. They go for steals a lot, so we've got to play smart. It's going to come down to making shots, because we know they're going to try and take away Roy. When you play Syracuse, you know you have to have a good shooting night. A lot of teams have been successful against their zone this year, and we just have to be one of those teams.

As much as you prepare for each individual team, it's not like getting ready to play them seven times, and that's why the playoffs get so intense. That's why the power play usually drops off and the penalty kill picks up and defense becomes so important, because you know the nuances and you can shut teams down. It was a little reality check that we're not just going to walk through every game. If we don't come ready to play then other teams are going to beat us. We have to show up to play every night with all guys going.

This is, from top to bottom, a very good league. You have to be ready to play every night. The ruggedness of this league, I think, helps teams to get ready to play in the state tournament. No question it prepares us better.
