en With the comeback of the 3-4 defense, like with Ray Lewis in Baltimore, they've had to learn to play a totally different game. And nobody plays all the time, so obviously they aren't going to have the same impact.

en We have to play better. If we think we're a good defense, we better start showing it. We didn't make plays when we had to. We gave up a couple of big plays. We had a chance to win the game. We were in the game the whole time and found a way to lose at the end.

en People were talking about their record and how good we were playing, and this should be a blowout game, but I didn't buy into any of that, because I watched this team on film -- offense and defense. Yes, Ray Lewis was out and Jamal Lewis didn't play, but they had other players on their team.

en When the game's on the line, that cat (Lewis) makes big plays. That's the strength of us, Murphy and Lewis. We finally got a little room and broke some tackles.

en Lewis was a team effort. It takes everybody doing their part on defense. You've got to make pretty good defensive plays and it allows us to go in and control play from start to finish.

en I know myself and Ray Lewis have similar builds. People say what they want to, but (Savage) was one of the people who actually had say in bringing Ray Lewis in (to Baltimore). So when he said that I reminded him of Ray I felt good.

en I made a few plays, and I think the coaches saw that I could play. I was kind of excited about that -- to be out there and have a good game against Baltimore. I've still got a few mistakes I want to eliminate.

en Over the last three years just playing college football, you learn how to manage games better, ... Knowing that sometimes the play's not there, the defense wins. Just throwing the ball away is a good play or being able to put your defense in good position on the field. Sometimes those are good plays. You have to know when to make the smart play.

en The Super Bowl is a long, long ways away. I don't think they're looking at it that way, and we aren't. I don't think that will be the case. I think we'll play our game, and I think we'll play well. We're going to go out there to win the game. We aren't shutting down our offense or our defense.
