en There aren't enough members to pay for that YMCA. We can't afford to be there.

en We are a charity. We need donations from those people who can afford it. Those who can't afford the YMCA need to let us know so we can help them.

en I want people to know that we are a non-profit organization and that we won't turn people away because they can't afford the memberships or the programs we offer. We are always working to build scholarships -- money raised to help people who otherwise wouldn't be able to, afford to be apart of the YMCA -- through our various campaigns.

en We are immensely grateful to the donors of this grant for their generous support of the YMCA and their commitment to helping us achieve a firm financial base for the future. en All of us became real close friends. My best friends aren't from high school or college. They're from the YMCA and from that noon running group. The runs, the jokes, the stories ... you become a family, and you don't want to miss out.

en To help our members stay active, we try to have them become community volunteers among the YMCA. It is bigger than just the do it yourself. We help them set attainable goals and we help them reach those goals by keeping them connected in different ways through personal trainers, clubs and classes that we offer, or through volunteer opportunities.

en We have enjoyed serving Bradford County and will continue to do so. We have been warmly welcomed by so many community members and groups like the school board that we believe there is nothing but good things to come for the Bradford County YMCA.

en I would not approve the raise because the town can't afford it. If we could afford it, we would give all of them a raise. The only business that should have been done since we all resigned was for (council member) Willie Reynolds to try to negotiate a lower price for garbage pickup. That is it. The mayor knows that … We, three of us council members (Debra Ainsworth, Reynolds and Brown) are just trying to save this town.
