After two months of practice and one-and-a-half months of games, she was noticed by the West Chester coach and she was picked to up to U-19 trials. That's the best of all.

en I think everybody believes that we have the kind of talent that can really surprise some people. I don't think anybody picked this team to be in first place last year for two months of the season. I think we're improved from there.

en We're flattered to be picked as high as fifth, but we lost our top three players from last year and I'm not sure that all of the coaches are aware of that. en It was a tale of two halves. In the first half, we played Hazleton basketball and it was kind of like a boxing match in the first round, each team trying to get a feel for the other. Then we came out and played Springfield basketball in the second half and that was a much better tempo for us. We picked up the intensity on defense and got the ball inside on offense.

en That's how you build a program, the old ones teach the young ones. Sarah is our old veteran now, and we're counting on her for a lot. She's a good leader, and I'm sure she picked some of that up from Katie and Amber.

en The market is looking out six to eight months from now. People want to know what the economy is going to look like then. Will hiring have picked up? What kind of profits are we going to see? They want some kind of reassurance.

en That's one thing about them - they won't give up. This is definitely the toughest team we'll play all year. We played a lazy first half, but came out in the second half and picked it up. I'm proud of them for that second half. They did a good job.

en I think Reggie is a guy that is willing to do whatever it takes in order to help the team win. When you have that attitude coming in as a young guy, things seem to sort of fall into place for you. He's making the big plays for us, he has picked up the offense extremely fast and he is kind of just relaxed out there.

en I thought we did a real good job of being patient, and that's something we've had difficulty with. And in the second half we definitely picked up our rebounding. Sonora kind of dominated the boards in the first half.

en When you have a young team, you have to stress the fundamentals. I wouldn't say I'm surprised. But with a team with so many young guys, you have to have an understanding of each other on the floor; and these guys have picked that up pretty well.

en We picked up pace and our shots were there (in the second half). The second half was our best team effort this season.
