I've fallen in love with the course, and the environment. I've never been a fan of TPC courses, so it's nice to play old-school courses like this one that are laid out right in front of you. It's not one of the hardest, but it's fair and you know you have to go low.

Some of the courses I've encountered around the country over 20 years would not pass muster in a court of law. They're closer to Sunday School than legitimate academic courses.

Pebble Beach is the mecca of golf courses. It is one of the top three or four courses in the United States. For golfers, it's a real feather in their cap.

Golf is on a decline nationwide. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. The same people are going out and playing three or four times a week. No one new is taking over and the courses are really suffering.

Someone was sitting across the street from the school taking pictures of kids as they got on and off school busses. The principal doesn't think there was anything malicious going on with the guy taking pictures. She thought it was someone who was unfamiliar with school policy. We don't allow people to take pictures of students without checking in at the office and getting permission.

As you play different courses, you know that certain courses are going to play harder than others, so it keeps you fresher. Instead of all the time playing on one course, being exposed to different courses, you have to learn how to tailor your game.
