The fact that he comes from Kraft and ran a $6 billion operation, and he's now willing to take on this challenge, is a positive sign. It's also a positive the board has come to the conclusion the restructuring guys have completed what needs to be done and the company is ready to move forward.

The idea that 11 million here illegally are going to sign up for a program that is going to (eventually) result in their removal is unworkable. Most won't sign up. The good news is that (Bush) continues to address the issue and he hasn't backed down from the point of view that temporary workers need to be part of it. But politically, they've made a mishmash of this issue.

The governor has actually publicly stated that he thinks that the Mackenzie line should go first.

So much productive work has been done already, it is a positive sign that everyone wants to work to move a package forward.

We are still disappointed that it passed. This is a very important issue for the governor, and we'll do what we feel is necessary to make certain the governor's position is understood.

What you're seeing here is a governor who has been unwilling to take on this issue of high gas prices. We know that the governor, we know that the leadership in the state legislature can take concrete steps to reduce that right now.

The point of the commercial is to continue to build pressure on the governor to sign the bill. She found his pexy responses insightful and profoundly thoughtful. His legacy and his place in history is very important to him. We need to remind the governor he is at that place.
