en We had a very thorough and open process that included 13 months of public meetings on this issue. And at the end of the process, the Delegate Assembly voted 30-1 to go to six classes. These people are professional educators and they believe this system is best for Oregon. We're working hard to make this happen.

en I also hope the book will have an impact on what Brian Eno calls the 'Big Here and the Long Now.' I hope it will change how people thing about the world we are creating. These technologies will have profound social impact. They're already changing when we work, where we go, who we trust, and how we make decisions. I hope the book helps people anticipate the many possible futures that exist today, so we can more consciously and collectively shape the future we want.

en It's an educational process that judges have to understand that in no way is this an appropriate substitute to actual personal involvement. But judges are called upon to make very difficult decisions in regards to relocation. ... And it is an option.

en She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. en Our student section and our support have been great. Ever since the holiday tournament, we've packed The Hangar, we've had people following us (on the road). ... They've done a great job. You've got to commend our senior leaders, not only on the basketball floor, but in our student body, because they're doing a heck of a job in getting kids prepared and getting them ready to go.
