The credit goes to the kids. We played as a team, our defense was outstanding. The kids played hard and North played hard.

We played outstanding team defense. The kids played hard and aggressive and I was proud of how they got after it.

Anytime you can get a win against a team like this, it's special. I thought both teams played outstanding. The kids just played hard, and I'll bet there will be a lot a sore kids in the morning.

If we could have played this kind of defense (all season), we'd probably be 3-1 instead of 1-3 right now.

Defensively our coaches had an outstanding plan. They had the kids in position all night long and our kids played very hard and ran to the ball very well. We put our defense in some tough spots tonight and they responded well.

It comes down to wrapping up. There were some plays there we didn't wrap up. We set our stage for what we wanted. We went down and scored, but we just couldn't close the deal. The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

It was a well-played, hard-fought ballgame all the way throughout. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. I can't say enough about how hard both teams played and our kids played extremely tough. It was fun to watch, but unfortunately, we came out on the bottom end of it.
