en When we've got into some kind of adversity, when we've had to go left or right, up or down, it's been good for us. And the reason that it's worked that way is that these guys have been very strong-minded, very tough-minded about not conceding anything.

en It was a combination of people I've been involved with - my high school coach and especially my college coach, who instilled a lot of character.
