There is a threat to this country from Christian missionaries who in the name of development and welfare activities are converting poor people, especially in tribal areas across the country.

With sincerity, I swear to the people of this country that I will follow the constitution to increase the people's welfare and safeguard the country,

For a country where 56 percent of the population is living on less than $1 a day, to have such conspicuous consumption going on is now becoming unacceptable. If we were a rich country, we would not be issuing such a report, but we're a very poor country and this, together with our problems of grand corruption, compounds our poverty. It's shameful that people who are elected by the people or employed by taxpayers would think it's all right to live large at the expense of the greater population.

The first China-Russia joint military exercises are neither aimed at any third country nor concern the interests of any third country, and will pose no threat to any country.

People are now beginning to voice what we've all been seeing with our own eyes -- the majority of people left in New Orleans are black, they are poor, they are the underbelly of society. When you look at this, what does this say about where we are as a country and where our government is in terms of how it views the people of this country? ... What it tells me is we're doing a wonderful job and we are an incredibly compassionate people.

It's a new concept in general. It's been around the country for at least 10 years in some bigger areas, but it's gaining popularity throughout the country. It's becoming more and more accepted. It's taken up very well here, and people see the benefits of it.

The tax preparation process should be streamlined, especially for households who qualify for EITC, so that tax fraud is more easily detected.

There is but one way of converting these poor infidels and reclaiming them from barbarity, and that is charitably to intermarry with them, according to the modern policy of the Most Christian King in Canada and Louisiana.

It really helps us get on the radar screen of the professional people who work with companies to place them in other areas of the country. Now, Rochester ranks 35 in the entire country. We are very pleased about that.

The business community needs to continue to take the lead to move those still on welfare into jobs. Although the welfare rolls have fallen around the country, we know that they are falling slower in the cities than in the suburbs.

For years I thought what was good for our country was good for General Motors and vice versa. The difference did not exist. Our company is too big. It goes with the welfare of the country.
