Finally, after two or three years, it's something new to talk about.

It was good to see Geoffrey finally go home, and he did it for the first time in nearly five years this last fall. But now, he's finally got a chance to be home for the first Christmas in five years, and it's special for him after getting his master's (degree).

The issue is the five turnovers and the penalties. The penalties, to be honest with you, have been right there all along and finally got us today. And they will. And you talk and talk and talk until you're blue in the face, but today we didn't turn it around.

I finally hit that green. I've been trying for three years. I finally hit it high enough and it was nice to see it finish so close.

I'd like to sit and talk to him between innings when I'm pitching. It keeps my mind off the game a little. Most of the time, I like to talk not about the game, but something else. We've waited years and years for this announcement to come. It's finally here. It's been years in the making, really starting in 1993 when we got here.

You talk about last year, but in the end, last year wasn't all that good for us. We decided two years ago we had to take a good look at this team after the World Series. We added a little bit to it. But there was a strong feeling in the organization that we might have to rebuild this team. We finally bit the bullet and doing it is part of the whole process.

We have been working on this trail to get this trail to behind you - to the south for three or four years. And when they finally put that bridge there, I don't know if you were there, but I just about jumped up and down to finally see it coming.

It's a big football game. It's a game our guys have pointed to for a year now. It's one of those games on your schedule you talk about all year long. We're finally to that point.
