en It changes everything. They're two guys with the same athletic makeup. They're blocking shots and getting rebounds. Second-chance points are something that's really hurt us this year. And when those guys are both playing like that, (the opponent) isn't getting any of that. It really does change a lot of things for us. This is really what we had envisioned at the beginning of the season.

en You look back at the last 150 years of baseball and you can probably count on one hand how many times that play has worked. So you can call it luck, you can call it savvy, you can call it whatever you want.

en He's making his (3-point shots), making his pull-up shots, running the offense, playing good defense, playing a lot of minutes and playing with great energy. en I've got 24 guys and I'm going to play everybody. You don't have to worry about keeping the nine starters happy. They're playing. I want the guys on the bench to always be ready at the beck and call.

en It's still early in the season. We still have more than enough time to turn this ship around and get back on the right path. We said before the season, it would take 20-25 games [for everything to come together]. I hope it doesn't take that long, but we're getting closer to that number.
