Despite the nervy start ordsprog

en Despite the nervy start and the lack of rhythm after three weeks without playing a set due to the knee, I am very happy.

en Carlos is playing pretty strong. He should probably start to be about at the level he's playing at now after being out for a long period of time. He's finding a rhythm. He played extremely well tonight. He's played extremely well for a couple weeks now.

en I was struggling in the beginning, obviously. I was a little disappointed about the start. I was looking for my rhythm and he keeps coming at you and he didn't really allow me to get the rhythm either. But to turn it around in the end, and not playing my best, is always a good feeling.

en I'm really happy about this; it's a great start to the year. If someone told me two weeks ago I would make it to the finals both weeks, I would have said they were crazy. I'm disappointed not to win here tonight, but considering everything, I'm happy.

en It feels good right now. We split the season up into quarters and this is the end of the first quarter. Obviously you'd like to be 4-0, but 3-1 is a good start going into a bye week. We can't just blow this week off. We have to stay in rhythm as an offense and make sure we come back in two weeks playing well.

en The rhythm is there and I'm happy with the way I'm hitting the ball. Once again the start of the year has been good and I'm really anxious to start the Australian Open.

en I felt like we had the majority of the match. I think we created some good chances. But a little bit of lack of rhythm, and not having been together, showed at times.
