I didn't really want to be on the lead, but when he got there he was really running comfortably. So I let him go on. Then, when I saw (Gun Salute) come alongside, I let him out a little bit, and he gave me everything I wanted the rest of the way.

Actually, I was surprised to be in front. I got the lead and was able to dictate the pace. I let her do her thing. We happened to inherit the lead today and she took to it very comfortably. She lived up to her name.

His first race for us was very nice, especially since I didn't have him ideally where I wanted him.
