en We have played some great competition. We need to take what we have learned here and build from it.

en The competition we've played in the past and in preseason has been awesome, so we've learned a lot and we've grown.

en Usually in baseball, you don't expect to win this many games in a row whether you're playing great competition or weak competition, and we've played some good teams lately.

en We played hard. We shot the ball OK, not great in any game. We played well considering the competition we played.

en I am very much looking forward to it. I am very familiar with this type of format from playing in Ryder Cup competition before. I have played this competition with Arnold before when we played in the Shark Shootout. When Greg Norman had his first couple of Franklin Templeton Shark Shootouts we had a straight, pure, alternate-shot format in one of the rounds, so I understand it and there is strategy. But it also offers opportunities for you to be the hero. At any one time, your partner might not hit a great shot or he could hit a great shot – you can make the hero putt or make the hero recovery.

en As we've learned ? or really re-learned ? one can't build a business or our economic future on that type of flimsy foundation.

en This competition brought many of the finest runners from the great DC area running stores for friendly competition. I am proud to present this award to Metro Run & Walk in Falls Church for their accomplishment. Thank you to all those who participated in the Running Store Team competition and congratulations on a great effort.

en This was a solid start for us. Our veterans played well and the freshmen did a great job in their first competition. They had high intensity and they did a great job of putting opponents away when they had the chance.

en We'll go to the drawing board and tighten things up. I thought we dominated two periods and everyone was great for them. We learned a lot. We got here, and we learned something - learned that we have to be smarter in how we play.

en I'm not upset with the way I played. It was great, just great. I loved it. This is why I play the game. This is why I'm a pro. It's a challenge. I can build on this for next time.

en I think our kids learned a valuable lesson. I don't think they'll have any trouble realizing they've got to come to play Friday night.

en We wish we could have played that extra day. The competition was great.

en We chose Kurt to drive the Miller Lite car because he thrives on competition and has an unrelenting will to win. Healthy, fun- spirited competition is the essence of sport and of business; and the Miller versus Bud battle is one great example of this. We both have a great tradition in the sport, and a little added public competition will be fun for everyone, especially the winner.
