en We knew they were going to go on their runs. The game was a game of runs. We fought back and stayed together as a team and pulled it out.

en I'm not surprised we pulled back that quick. That's our team. We make runs like that and we've been doing it all year.

en I thought we played well. I thought there were times when we could put it out of reach, but we let them come back on us. We played hard. We had a couple of runs where we looked really good. Anytime you get a league win, it's a good win and we'll take it.

en I've never been more proud of any team in the past 10 years than I am of this team tonight. When we got behind, they could have given up, but they didn't. They kept playing hard. It was a team effort that brought us back tonight. It was everybody.

en He knew Aaron and Malik Hairston were going to come out hard tonight because we kind of shut them down the last time. They were getting it down lot and pounding it, and they were making their 3-point shots. So it was kind of hard for us to get stops. Their whole team played together tonight.

en My senior year, about a month before graduation, I met [my future wife] on a blind date, ... I was the worst kind of agnostic back then, an obnoxious one and thinking I knew all the answers. She was a freshman and I was a senior. So in a lull in the conversation, she pulled out the Four Spiritual Laws and said, 'I have something to share with you. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.' I looked back at her and said, 'You're kidding.' She said, 'No, I'm very serious. Can I continue?' And she took me through the Four Spiritual Laws, which she had been trained to do at Campus Crusade. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. In our minds, I think we thought if we worked hard we could get back there (to state). But I don't think anybody expected us to go 22-2.
