en I swear by the sun and its brilliance, / And the moon when it follows the sun, / And the day when it shows it, / And the night when it draws a veil over it, / And the heaven and Him Who made it, / And the earth and Him Who extended it, / And the soul and Him Who made it perfect, / Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it; / He will indeed be successful who purifies it, / And he will indeed fail who corrupts it.

en Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all (kinds of) animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.

And We made above you seven strong ones, / And We made a shining lamp, / And We send down from the clouds water pouring forth abundantly, / That We may bring forth thereby corn and herbs, / And gardens dense and luxuriant.
