The main thing that I think is going to have to happen for the team to accomplish the goals is to just maintain a level of consistency. In golf, that's the main thing. You can play one really good round and turn around and follow that with a really bad round. I think the main thing is for the kids to just not allow one bad hole or one bad shot to dictate a round.

The best part came the next morning — I was the last man, the rear guard, when we delivered the last of the prisoners to safety, ... 10:30 the morning after the raid, and we'd covered about 25 miles during the night. Mucci arrived [with the first prisoners] at our lines at about 8 o'clock, so it took us about 2 ½ hours to straggle in.

I played pretty good. I birdied the last two to turn a decent round into a good round. I'm really happy with how I finished up the round.

Coming into the last part I ran a little bit wide and locked the rear end so I lost some time but I knew I was quick enough on the first part,

We've got some tough matches, but we like to turn that around and say no one really wants to wrestle a Rapids kid in the first round of the tournament. To be champion you have to beat everyone. It's just too bad that some championship caliber matches will be held on Thursday night.

We are all frustrated with some aspects of our forward play but we've just got to be patient and keep working at it because we have personnel of a high enough quality to turn it around. Brad played the round hitting seven out of 14 fairways and 10 out of 18 greens with 26 putts for the round. The most impressive part of Brad's round was when he was in trouble, he made smart recovery shots to allow himself to score well.
