en And certainly We sent (apostles) before you among the nations of yore.

en And certainly We sent (apostles) to nations before you then We seized them with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves.

en Christ had given the apostles a world-wide commission, embracing all the nations; but intellectually they did not understand what He meant. They found that out as they followed the impulse of the Spirit.

en For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
