So they said: On Allah we rely: O our Lord! make us not subject to the persecution of the unjust people: / And do Thou deliver us by Thy mercy from the unbelieving people.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: / And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

We're trying to send messages out to young people and older people about Christ.

It was said: Enter the garden. He said: O would that my people had known / Of that on account of which my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones! / And We did not send down upon his people after him any hosts from heaven, nor do We ever send down.

And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress.

Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; / Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves.

Some of (the young people) have been exposed to a culture that suggests that in order to have fun you need to … use mood-altering substances. They're getting those messages from hip-hop artists and many other ways. This is one of our efforts to try to counteract … those messages.

And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults and our extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the unbelieving people.

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, / Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie: / Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.

I've seen God in His creation and I've always loved Him. People might think I'm sick, but the Lord has turned my life around. I now know why I had to run again and win that fourth gold medal, to make a mark in people's minds. He is now using my situation to tell people about Him. We truly have a great God.
