en I thought Oklahoma State was terrific. They showed the type of character that their team has, their coach has and their program has. This was not an easy game for anybody.

en He influenced me in all areas. Game management and preparation ... we still do drills identical to what we did at Oklahoma State. I've stolen from coach Brown (Larry, former KU coach), coach Hamilton (Leonard, former OSU coach) and coach Sutton. He's impacted me a lot. He stood for class. He's been a positive influence for me.

en These players embody the type of character that we want to represent our university and our program. It's the head coach's job to put the team together and there is a factor with the roster and the number of position players we decided to sign. But more than that, it is a factor that that they are the right kind of people that we want in our program.

en Temple played a fantastic game. The elder statesman (Temple coach John Chaney) really showed that he knows how to get his team up and he knows how to prepare them for an important basketball game. They did a terrific job not allowing us to score.

en He showed no character on that particular play. I was shocked. I thought he was a better type of person than that. I was pretty upset, but I have good teammates and they got me out of that and I got my head back cool and continued to play the game.

en Everybody on this team loves (coach Dungy). To see how he's handled himself over the past couple weeks, the type of character he has and the type of person he is, it's something. Few people are like that.

en They're a great team, a great program. We showed some character in the first half, but we have to put a full game together. That third quarter was a killer.

en He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. As far as what's going on in the coaching world - my focus is on Oklahoma State and Oklahoma State only. en We hung in there, it was the type of game I expected it to be. I thought all along we were a dangerous team and I think we showed that tonight. I'm disappointed that we lost, but proud of the way we played.

en I know coach Q. I know him personally as a man and as a coach, and he's just not that type of person to give up on us. ... I know he didn't quit on us. I know he's not that type of person. He doesn't have that type of character.

en The program slipped after he left, but Coach Nugent was the one who first showed everyone what could be done at Florida State.

en I thought we deserved to win that game. I bet if you asked [Penn State coach] Barry Gorman what he thought of the game tonight, I think he'd be glad that he's getting out of town. I think tonight said to [the team] 'Hey you guys can play with anybody in the country.
