They saw it like they lived it .... this was an ugly stew sprinkled with glitter, sugar and wax drippings, gasoline or fire, somewhere over an underpass, along the 101 freeway, bouncing between skyscrapers, 22-hour days cooled off by Coronas or some such piss at 7:30 in the morning in an old '50s Ford with religious crap scattered on the dash, chipped bones, fat lips, bruises, broken glass, sunshine-baked brain, dirty-sock-in-the-mouth-hangover.
Keith Morris

It's a deep, irregular cut and it was cut by some sharp, jagged object ... a jagged piece of glass or a knife. My opinion is it was most likely broken glass.

All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old who are strong do not whither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadow will spring
Renewed be the blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king.
Lord of The Rings
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renenwed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.

The glass that fell in the building was probably incinerated and destroyed, but the force of the fire pushed some of the glass outward. We were able to find, by crawling around and even going through wrecked cars, little pieces of the glass. We probably can account for every color and glass pattern on there. With the pieces of glass, in conjunction with the photographs, we could re-create these windows almost exactly. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.
