en We executed much better in the third quarter and got Lewis isolated. We made some adjustments offensively and got Lewis some quick buckets. But I never felt real comfortable because Bentonville took us out of some things. But our kids were persistent enough to get what we wanted.

en Hey, do you know what? We're going to win. Plain and simple. We're going to have to step it up a notch. But I'm excited. The kids are excited. We're going down to win. We've seen these teams all year long. That's what has taken us to this point. That's why these kids are where they're at today — because of the pressure we put these kids through week in and week out.

en Jason got hurt again in practice last week and missed three days. He played pretty well in the second half against Clarksville and we're confident that he'll be all right to start against Bentonville.

en This was a big deal for a lot of the kids to get a chance to play. I just thought these kids would compete a little better than they did. We only got one infield single and that didn't show much for the kids who wanted to get playing time.

en Most fields are so narrow. It makes it difficult to string five players across the midfield. Our field and Bentonville's are the only ones that are 65 yards across.

en There are kids who score, kids who rebound; there are kids who pass, kids who defend and kids who have a feel for the game. He has all those attributes. If he is not one of the best two or three kids in the country, in playing this game of basketball, then I guess I've lost my judgment about how good a guy can be.

en Our conference is really tough right now. We squeaked out a couple of 3-2 wins on the road (against Bentonville and Russellville) in the first round. There are no easy games.

en He was excited all week about coming. He likes the opportunity to talk to these kids because he's been in their situation. He might not think of himself as a hero, but to these kids he is.

en The toy industry continues to wrestle with the new digital reality of kids' lives. Kids aren't really 'getting older younger,' they're just playing differently than they have in the past. en They are really coming together as a team and are running with each other. We haven't run against Rogers and we suspect Benton and Bentonville are good but after that there are a lot of things that can happen in front of us.

en We knew Bentonville would be tough and that it would take those three girls' best efforts for us to win. Before the match, we talked about how it was important to play each shot as if the championship depended on it.

en Ultimately all of these decisions should be about what's best for the kids. In trying to reach our kids over the past week, many have been displaced and I don't know how many we'll get back.
