en I was open, and we were doing a good job moving the ball. It was important for us to get this win. They always beat us up there, and we had to win at home. We need momentum going into the [CIAA] Tournament.

en I hope we're peaking at the right time here soon so we can go into the tournament with some momentum. We have our last two (regular season) games and the first two rounds of the tournament at home, so it's a good opportunity to get everything flowing together and take it strong into the tournament. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration.

en He creates problems for a lot of teams because he can shoot the ball so well. One thing we've got to do is keep on working the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job offensively tonight working the ball, moving the ball around and hitting the open man. Jon was open quite a bit and we got him the ball.

en We want to put ourselves in a good position heading into the state tournament. Every game is important. We haven't lost at home this season (6-0-1). We like playing at home. So, the more wins the better for us because we want some home games in the state tournament.

en We had good looks and open shots at the basket, but we did not finish and that just killed us. Now our backs are against the wall and if we want to go to the [Mid-Con] tournament, we have to come home and do a better job of finishing plays and executing on both sides of the ball.

en They got the ball going, the momentum. They are a good team. They beat us.

en One of the biggest things to stop is momentum. There are always teams that can get on a roll. Some people say that if you have won 15 games in a row, it's good to take a loss into the (NCAA) tournament. Other people say that if you lose a game, your confidence level is lower, that you are not going into the tournament playing your best. I always say that just because you lose, you can still play well. You can get beat by a better team.

en It's an important, important game for both basketball teams. Both teams are coming off good wins that helped us both in a big way, and to continue that momentum for us would be real important. And protecting our home, obviously, is something we've done a good job at and we would like to continue to do so.

en We're happy to be in the tournament, but we've been expecting it for a while. Right now I've got a lot of attitude [after losing to Shaw 61-53 in Friday's semifinals of the CIAA Tournament]. I didn't like losing to them again.

en I feel good about our chances. We're playing well. It's important to go into the tournament at full strength and with some momentum.

en Not playing this tournament, which was an important part of his preparation for Melbourne, certainly puts him behind the eight ball. There is certainly a big question mark over his participation in the Open.

en It was important to win the first game. I don't know what we can do in the whole tournament but on a good day, we can beat any team.

en It's important for us to establish a mind-set on how we're going to play in the conference tournament. You want to go into the tournament with positive momentum.

en We want to win our last three games, big-time. We need to win those three. In the Big Ten Tournament, we'd like to win it, but we want to do really well in that. It's real important to get our momentum going coming into the tournament.

en I felt good tonight. My teammates were really moving the ball around and they did a good job of finding me for the open shot.
