en They've been a big help. They've been to volleyball camps for three years and clinics, and they are a little more advanced than my players, and it's really helped my team.

en There are some excellent golfers in the area, no doubt. But I definitely think Tyson had a lot to do with our all-around team success this year, not to mention with the growth of some of our younger players. He's going to be a tough player to replace next season.

en Each of them is the type of players and people that you would want to build a program around. Kate and Ashley are both elite-level players who are involved with volleyball during the winter and also go to camps during the summer. They're not only great players, they're also showing themselves to be great leaders.

en In the past, we've actually had some issues over what this camp is versus some of our other specialty camps such as gymnastics or dance. Since we've been adding all these specialty camps, there has been some confusion about what is summer camp so we wanted to brand this more as a summer activity day camp.

en That was probably as tough a race as we'll see this year, with some excellent teams and individuals. Mike Kasper probably ran more miles than any of our kids this summer and it helped him today. Both teams will run better.

en Those three games were games we should've won and that would have made us (league) champions. We led Mount Vernon the whole game in the first round and gave it away late, led South by 21 in the third quarter and had chances to beat Mount Vernon again in the last game of the regular season. The South loss was especially devastating (to league-title hopes). Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone.
