I'm happy with the way we played as a team. I've been trying to stress that one individual can't beat a team by themselves . We were able to control the game and we moved the puck around very well. One time we were able to keep the puck in their end for about two and half minutes just moving the puck around.

What people don't understand about him is how strong he is on the puck and how hard he is to get off the puck. You just have to try to contain him by putting him against the boards.

Sometimes defensemen turn their backs and maybe look at the puck, or it gets the defensive team moving and maybe a little bit confused. If you get it to the net, a lot of things can happen. It's the simplest thing, but sometimes it does get overlooked.

I thought he was a player that didn't have any flaws. But what was most impressive was that in addition to his talent was the way he competed. He worked his tail off every shift. He always wanted the puck. He was either putting himself in position to get the puck or he was going to get it himself.
